Jonathan Verweijen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ted Stroobos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Koopmans in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Ralph Koopmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Stroobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 23rd match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gertjan van Damme to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jonathan Verweijen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heineken Youths's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Verweijen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Stroobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Zhou Kang Cheng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albertus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 44thth minute of the game Zhou Kang Cheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heineken Youths's Big Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos got control of the ball when Jonathan Verweijen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zhou Kang Cheng made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 68 minutes, Christijan van Asseldonk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christijan van Asseldonk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Verweijen in the 71st minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ralph Koopmans notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos. Ted Stroobos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christijan van Asseldonk in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Big Wall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Koopmans in the 82nd minute of the match.
