Miguel Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute FFC Merainies 03 were awarded a corner. Fabio Botello went to the cornerflag to take it. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Cremers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Sturkenboom kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Miguel Proença was a little too slow when Fabio Botello got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goalkeeper Miguel Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Craandijk. Patrick Josselin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Seagulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Mook didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Fabio Botello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Proença saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Fabio Botello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Proença. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Proença should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Seagulls's Miguel Proença got control of the ball when Fabio Botello tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Seagulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Rensenbrink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Craandijk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Miguel Proença skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Fabio Botello got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Craandijk came free, but Miguel Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Miguel Proença throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leon Craandijk in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Melvin Plagge hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Oskar Törnblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Michel Cremers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oskar Törnblom was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Seagulls's zone, Ksawery Gongola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Proença came out of the goal and Ksawery Gongola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Gongola came free, but Miguel Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Leon Craandijk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Miguel Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Törnblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Seagulls's Marco Mook got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Proença was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Gongola came free, but Miguel Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oskar Törnblom in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Craandijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ksawery Gongola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Fabio Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Törnblom took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Proença. Miguel Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FFC Merainies 03 fully deserved thier win.
