PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anak Dewa in the 20th minute of play. With an all-out effort, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Marcus Taffarel threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anthon Mellbad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Mellbad in the 25th minute of play forced Calopsita EC's goalkeeper Marcus Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calopsita EC's goalkeeper Marcus Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Mellbad in the 28th minute of play. Garnier Rusterholz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Calopsita EC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Mellbad came free, but Marcus Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Mellbad in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthon Mellbad to make the kick off. The Calopsita EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Taffarel should have stopped the shot. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Tadeu Goiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edu Santos in the 67 minute of the game. After 69 played minutes PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- got a freekick which was hit by Allan Moreno. Semih Şentürk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garnier Rusterholz. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Gabrielli in the 73rd minute of play forced Calopsita EC's goalkeeper Marcus Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Velloso in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Taffarel saved Calopsita EC from getting behind. In the 77th minute Luiz Fábio Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garnier Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fábio Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garnier Rusterholz was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Lucas Gabrielli scored 7-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 minutes Calopsita EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmílson Arantes who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Allan Moreno getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lucas Gabrielli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Lucas Gabrielli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Taffarel. Calopsita EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Gabrielli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Calopsita EC for a fine match.
