Arí Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jorginho Mattos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Xavier got free with Arí Sarmento in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Gustavo Abud got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Edu Proença tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arí Sarmento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arí Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Proença in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Sarmento saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. In the 33rd minute of the match, Sebastião Xavier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arí Sarmento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tadeu do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Sebastião Xavier struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Arí Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARON FC. With his leg Arí Sarmento managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when ARON FC's Sebastião Xavier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of ARON FC booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arí Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Xavier in the 39th minute. Oséas Rosa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizinho Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ARON FC booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arí Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Mattos in the 55th minute of the match. Sebastião Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastião Xavier took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arí Sarmento. Arí Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 66th minute Sebastião Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ARON FC's Oséas Rosa got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizinho Zonta in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fabiano Vaz saved ARON FC from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Sebastião Xavier notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pragmáticos 1903's Arí Sarmento. Arí Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arí Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Proença's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Luizinho Zonta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fabiano Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Arí Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Xavier in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Xavier came free, but Arí Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arí Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Rosa in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Sebastião Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Arí Sarmento. Pragmáticos 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, ARON FC's Jorginho Mattos got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Ismael de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pragmáticos 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that ARON FC were the better team. ARON FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
