Agnaldo Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Guarani Futebol Clube's Orhun Taran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 彭钢昂. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's Alexsandro Massa got a free kick in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oiteiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarani Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Oiteiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Netto to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Pereira in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferenc Puskás in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 彭钢昂 saved Oiteiras from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Fausto da Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which 彭钢昂 however easily saved by the left post. 彭钢昂 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 44th minute of play. Orhun Taran struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. 彭钢昂 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarani Futebol Clube.

Guarani Futebol Clube's Ferenc Puskás got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josué das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josué das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oiteiras's Raúl do Valle got a free kick in the 57th minute. Raúl do Valle hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ferenc Puskás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhun Taran in the 61st minute of play forced Oiteiras's goalkeeper 彭钢昂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adilson Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto de Moraes having to interfere. Ferenc Puskás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. 彭钢昂 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Oiteiras defense, Orhun Taran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 彭钢昂. The Oiteiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 彭钢昂 should have stopped the shot. After 72 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Netto. 彭钢昂 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Guarani Futebol Clube booed when Oiteiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's 程笑斐 got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhun Taran in the 89th minute of play forced Oiteiras's goalkeeper 彭钢昂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes in the game Raúl do Valle did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Adilson Reis. After 93 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Netto. There was no doubt that Guarani Futebol Clube were the better team. Guarani Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
