With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betinho Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Antoni Bartoszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game John Lennon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LRCA Office Club's Betinho Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Umbrella Corporation's Sebastião Barbosa got control of the ball when Eliézer Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Umbrella Corporation's John Lennon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betinho Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Leite came free, but Sebastião Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Mário Amaral sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute John Lennon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, John Lennon made a precise shot to the right of Betinho Novaes. LRCA Office Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 34th minute, John Lennon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betinho Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Antoni Bartoszek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes, John Lennon made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. LRCA Office Club's Betinho Novaes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antoni Bartoszek was the one to do the kick off. Betinho Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Bartoszek in the 53rd minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Betinho Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Betinho Novaes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by LRCA Office Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfredo Curado was slow to take the kick. During this time Umbrella Corporation's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilien Vaslin in the 59th minute of play forced Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Sebastião Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Antoni Bartoszek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Betinho Novaes, 0-6. Betinho Novaes had great luck who in the 65thth minute grab hold of the ball when Antoni Bartoszek from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Umbrella Corporation's Antoni Bartoszek in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Betinho Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoni Bartoszek's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Alonzo Che came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Umbrella Corporation fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Che couldn't finish the play. Sebastião Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Amaral in the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, John Lennon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbrella Corporation's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Lennon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LRCA Office Club made a substitution. Domingo Patrido replaced Eliézer Leite. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alonzo Che managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umbrella Corporation's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Che was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umbrella Corporation's Antoni Bartoszek got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Umbrella Corporation fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Umbrella Corporation's John Lennon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Betinho Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 96th minute of play. Umbrella Corporation were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after LRCA Office Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Legimin Witarya took the corner. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Legimin Witarya from long distance, 99 minutes into the match, got Betinho Novaes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The LRCA Office Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Umbrella Corporation's performance. The match ended with a win for Umbrella Corporation.
