The audience thought a goal was coming when Guto Vaz got free with Geovanni Arruda in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Tande in the 12th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Léo Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Celso Tande sped through COURO COME FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Léo Sampaio. Léo Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Tepedino in the 15th minute of play. Geovanni Arruda made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nildo Chaves sent off a good shot on target. If Humberto Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Celso Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PERNA DE PAU SC's Geovanni Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Cardozo in the 26th minute of play. PERNA DE PAU SC's Geovanni Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save PERNA DE PAU SC from getting a goal against them. Léo Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Tepedino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Léo Sampaio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Guto Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Geovanni Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, COURO COME FC's Leonel Koehler got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, PERNA DE PAU SC's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Veiga came free, but Geovanni Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. COURO COME FC's Nildo Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Décio Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of PERNA DE PAU SC booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball.
