Serafim Barros struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Magno Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagarana Clube. Magno Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Yang Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Santista FC's goalkeeper Magno Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Yu Yang Sang sped through Real Santista FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Magno Leme. Real Santista FC's Magno Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éder Madureira in the 20th minute of play. Magno Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Yang Sang in the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Gustavo Ferreira. 33 minutes into the game, Serafim Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Magno Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 minutes, Serafim Barros made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Real Santista FC's Magno Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Cardoso in the 40th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Serafim Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Yu Yang Sang. Real Santista FC's Hortêncio Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Real Santista FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sagarana Clube were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Hortêncio Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. Beto Heidemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Magno Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Éder Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Magno Leme made a huge save. Éder Madureira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Magno Leme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 73 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Abreu came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Serafim Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sagarana Clube made a substitution. Bruno Salles replaced Éder Madureira. 81 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Cardoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedito Trigo. Sagarana Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Serafim Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Magno Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedito Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hortêncio Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
