Jipa RO's Bruno Henrique quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marco Valle, made in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in GynBsb's zone, Bruno Henrique stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Bertassi came out of the goal and Bruno Henrique tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabinho Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Cosme in the 19th minute of play forced Jipa RO's goalkeeper Fabinho Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, GynBsb's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Konopka came free, but Frederico Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, GynBsb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Norbert Konopka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jipa RO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Konopka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Henrique blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Bertassi having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fabinho Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Fernandes in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Jipa RO getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Evair Gøl hit a great ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 59th minute, when GynBsb's Paul Danielsson after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Fabinho Prestes in Jipa RO's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Frederico Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Konopka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Konopka in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Bertassi saved GynBsb from getting behind. In the 66th minute GynBsb were awarded a corner. Filipe Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. Frederico Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Konopka in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiso Posse in the 69th minute of play forced Jipa RO's goalkeeper Fabinho Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GynBsb booed when Jipa RO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Henrique didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jipa RO's Eusébio Koehler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marco Valle in the 82 minute of the game. In the 84th match minute, Jipa RO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Donato to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Filipe Brito in the 85th minute really tested Fabinho Prestes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paul Danielsson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Haroldo Terra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Bertassi having to make a save. Frederico Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Terra in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Bruno Henrique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Henrique fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Bertassi having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
