Doni das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Furlan in the 3rd minute of play. Fluminense DF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Trigo in the 4th minute. It was a well-played corner which Alfredo de Alcântara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 9 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Vaz came free, but Edmílson Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo de Alcântara came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Anderson Vaz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Edmílson Simão to make any attempt to save it. Doni das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Furlan in the 28th minute of the match. Anderson Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Edmílson Simão made a huge save. After 36 minutes of play, Fluminense DF's Osvaldo Furlan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doni das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fred Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fluminense DF's Edmílson Simão got control of the ball when Anderson Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Furlan made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fluminense DF's zone, Esteban Gentza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmílson Simão came out of the goal and Esteban Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Luiz Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Finsberg in the 60th minute of play forced Fluminense DF's goalkeeper Edmílson Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Fluminense DF's Osvaldo Furlan made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doni das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmílson Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Vaz in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Anderson Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Edmílson Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fluminense DF made a substitution. Caio Travassos replaced Osvaldo Furlan. Edmílson Simão came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by TEIXEIRINHA FC's Anderson Vaz. But to his dismay, Anderson Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Edmílson Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Fluminense DF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pedrinho Piqué hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
