Edvaldo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Saraiva's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Vidal in the 28th minute of play. Aníbal Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Guilherme Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Gustavo FPRMZ booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 59th minute SAS were awarded a corner. Agostinho Carneiro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Agostinho Carneiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mané Moreno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Mané Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Paraense in the 61st minute of play. After 72 played minutes FC Gustavo FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by August Högman. Mané Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of FC Gustavo FPRMZ booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Saraiva in the 94th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
