After taking down the ball on S.C. Corinthians Paulista's corner Valdecir Carlos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Carioca quite easily take care of the ball. João Adolfo Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Fırat Aytekin made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, S.C. Corinthians Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Eric Hjortsberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Fırat Aytekin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fırat Aytekin stood somewhat misplaced when Eric Hjortsberg came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Adriano Alagoano made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gustavo Sergipano however managed to control. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in IGUIPORÃ FC's zone, Johannes Kruuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Carioca came out of the goal and Johannes Kruuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eric Hjortsberg made a kick off. Fırat Aytekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Hjortsberg went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Adriano Alagoano got a free kick in the 65th minute. S.C. Corinthians Paulista made a substitution. Evandro Trancoso replaced Nildo Rosa. S.C.
