Haridades F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lando Norin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ronaldinho Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lando Norin in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tato Vega got free with Ronaldinho Pernambucano in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lando Norin in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Que se abra o mar's Lando Norin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Andrade in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Lando Norin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tato Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Pernambucano having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Albertinho Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertinho Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Que se abra o mar fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Que se abra o mar's Albertinho Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Moisés Dracena made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Albertinho Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Andrade came free, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Lando Norin notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tato Vega in the 66th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Lando Norin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Que se abra o mar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Ronaldinho Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Mesías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Lando Norin notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronaldinho Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tato Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Que se abra o mar got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Pimenta. Ronaldinho Pernambucano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lando Norin went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Emílio Pontes's late challenge caught a Que se abra o mar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Que se abra o mar a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lando Norin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano. 12-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Que se abra o mar fully deserved thier win.
