Alvise Urbani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Filippo Barbato made a huge save. Filippo Barbato was a little too slow when Alvise Urbani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Edoardo Meo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filippo Barbato. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Cesare Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filippo Barbato was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Cesare Loreto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesare Loreto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Filippo Barbato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Loreto in the 19th minute of the match. Alvise Urbanis short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Filippo Barbato to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cesare Loreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Barbato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by XMAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlo De Luca was slow to take the kick. During this time Sorci Viola's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio De Nardis in the 27th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filippo Barbato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Loreto in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Sorci Viola got a corner. XMAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlo De Luca ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, XMAS's Filippo Barbato got control of the ball when Alvise Urbani tried to sneak it across the goal line. XMAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Alvise Urbani scored to the left of an out of position Filippo Barbato, making the score, 4-0. Cesare Loreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filippo Barbato came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesare Loreto slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvise Urbani got free with Filippo Barbato in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. XMAS's Eugenio Casiraghi was substituted for Christian Zaccardi. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Loreto to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Cesare Loreto sped through XMAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippo Barbato. If Cesare Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 70 minutes, Alvise Urbani made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. XMAS's Filippo Barbato tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Cesare Loreto in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 76th minute, Alvise Urbani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filippo Barbato was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ennio De Nardis's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Edoardo Meo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Filippo Barbato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filippo Barbato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Loreto in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Loreto came free, but Filippo Barbato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Cesare Loreto put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Filippo Barbato. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sorci Viola had played much better football throughout.
