The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Tanek Walczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc-Olivier Coq in the 7th minute of play. After 10 minutes SILMONT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Vicente who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ANAHA FC's Damian Vicente to fire away a dangerous shot which Qiu Zhi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Qiu Zhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Ponc in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, ANAHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martial Haas came free, but Firmin Négrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Martial Haas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Firmin Négrel. ANAHA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martial Haas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, SILMONT's Ryan Monvoisin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Yves Bayle to maneuver through the defense. Damian Vicente took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Qiu Zhi. SILMONT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 25 minutes SILMONT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Vicente who took care of the corner kick. ANAHA FC's Francisco Ibañez got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Firmin Négrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Albaret in the 29th minute of play. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Ponc in the 30th minute of play. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Tanek Walczyk notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SILMONT's Qiu Zhi. Qiu Zhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SILMONT's attentive Marcel Lemahieu managed to snatch the ball when Ahmet Korkut Sinan made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Albaret to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Yves Bayle to maneuver through the defense. Martial Haas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Firmin Négrel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tanek Walczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Adriano Guimarães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Firmin Négrel. The goal made the score 2-2. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Walczyk in the 69th minute of play. Firmin Négrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Bordat in the 72nd minute of the match. Qiu Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Walczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Firmin Négrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martial Haas in the 79th minute. Qiu Zhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Walczyk in the 88th minute of the match.
