Tanek Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Côme Collet, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Abraham Beauval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erdinç Yalgın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raphaël Lallemand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Erdinç Yalgın made a huge save. After 22 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erdinç Yalgın was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erdinç Yalgın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Beauval's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Léon Sureau got a free kick in the 44th minute. Clément Clavier kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Su Xiang Lin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Bourlier's late challenge caught a Les Pionniers de Touraine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Sanna replaced Su Xiang Lin. Mans's Erdinç Yalgın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Yalgın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mans's Côme Collet in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
