The audience thought a goal was coming when Gasteiz Latorre got free with Christophe Troxler in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gasteiz Latorre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christophe Troxler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillelme Lomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Trasloseros in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Öberg came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Leizaur who took care of the corner kick. Guillelme Lomas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 90th minute, Yves Passot made a precise shot to the right of Jeremy Avellana. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Montevideo City Torque's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salvino Masses took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo had won after a very even match.
