The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Didi Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Bogdanović in the 8th minute of the match. Nelson Mandela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Nelson Mandela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Didi Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Mandela in the 13th minute of play. Nelson Mandela took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Dionísio. Didi Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aleksander Naskrent hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nelson Mandela struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Didi Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Željezničar. In the 26th minute, Patricio Maquibar made a precise shot to the right of Didi Dionísio. Wonderkids's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcísio Malta in the 30th minute of play forced FK Željezničar's goalkeeper Grigoris Koufakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Marjan Prokopievski lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Grigoris Koufakis. Aleksander Naskrent hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Grigoris Koufakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarcísio Malta's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Nikola Bogdanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Wonderkids's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Mandela came free, but Didi Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Wonderkids players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FK Željezničar were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Nelson Mandela made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Wonderkids's Avram Radevski got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nelson Mandela might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Didi Dionísio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelson Mandela ran back to his position shaking his head. Nikola Bogdanović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didi Dionísio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Bogdanović in the 63rd minute of play. Didi Dionísio had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nelson Mandela from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Camillo Pesce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Željezničar made a substitution. Kaid Šuman replaced Patricio Maquibar. FK Željezničar made a substitution. Stevan Žižović replaced Ibrahim Veizović. FK Željezničar's Nelson Mandela got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FK Željezničar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelson Mandela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avram Radevski's late challenge caught a FK Željezničar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avram Radevski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FK Željezničar booed when Wonderkids was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Radevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Mandela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoris Koufakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Mikulski in the 86th minute of the match. Aleksander Naskrent hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Wonderkids got a freekick which was hit by Müfit Gülerce. Šemsudin Kamber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didi Dionísio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Didi Dionísio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kaid Šuman. If Nelson Mandela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FK Željezničar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
