Mujaga Zaninović's late challenge caught a Wonderkids's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mujaga Zaninović helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sanderlend getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mujaga Zaninović hit a great ball. Sverker Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Arjoca in the 14th minute of play. Tarcísio Malta took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Fanström. Sverker Fanström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Babbis Aggeliadis took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Dionísio. Didi Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Babbis Aggeliadis took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Dionísio. A nice corner shot did that Luo Jun Feng got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Didi Dionísio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sanderlend's Babbis Aggeliadis got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Aggeliadis in the 34th minute of play. Didi Dionísio was a little too slow when Babbis Aggeliadis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-1. Didi Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Sanderlend were awarded a corner. Luo Jun Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. Erkand Ziberi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the game's 44th minute Sanderlend's Luo Jun Feng took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Didi Dionísio and thus the score was 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

With a left leg Didi Dionísio saved Wonderkids from getting behind. Sanderlend were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Wonderkids's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luo Jun Feng took the corner. Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Aggeliadis in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Arjoca came free, but Sverker Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Mujaga Zaninović in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wonderkids's Edgar Wahlnäs. After 66 played minutes Wonderkids got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Wahlnäs. Sanderlend's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luo Jun Feng in the 71st minute. If Tarcísio Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Wonderkids defense, Babbis Aggeliadis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Dionísio. The Wonderkids fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Dionísio should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Babbis Aggeliadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Dionísio was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute Babbis Aggeliadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sanderlend fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wonderkids had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
