The audience was convinced that Alex Sági's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Bálint was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When Szabolcs Vass fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szolnoki MÁV's protests and gave Szabolcs Vass a yellow card for diving instead. Venancio Griful took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viktor Bálint. Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Sági in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Bálint saved Szolnoki MÁV from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 minutes, Csanád Újvári mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szolnoki MÁV and the BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Szolnoki MÁV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Sági was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. A collision led to BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nichifor Oprescu hit a great ball. Emesto Muñagorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Szilárd Müller put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Szolnoki MÁV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK:s goal. Orestis Kamaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szolnoki MÁV the free kick. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levente Szőnyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Sági could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Viktor Bálint made a huge save.
