Gianluca Buffon made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zé Dos Reis sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Dos Reis could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Gianluca Buffon however easily saved by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Türk Polis Gücü's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Firmo came free, but Edmund Dulemba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zé Dos Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Dos Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gianluca Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Zaid Cevahir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nevşehirspor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Türk Polis Gücü.
