But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony Lanoy couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Juan-Ramón Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Engin Üke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celalettin Çalımbay in the 22nd minute. Lütfi Kadrettin made a great header on KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's corner, it was just that Eregli SK's Engin Üke managed to reach the ball for a save. 27 minutes into the game, Juan-Ramón Verón recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Engin Üke. Nizam Şafak made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Vasko Zagorchev sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Juan-Ramón Verón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Lütfi Erkılıç was substituted for He Tian Jian. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Cezmi Taşkınay was substituted for Juan-Ramón Verón. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Hazım Resul was substituted for Orçun Halıcı. In the 94th match minute, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Houghton to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Cezmi Taşkınay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eregli SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
