The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilhelm Palm scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Ravelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Koralp Sıratullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by blackeagle's Hurşit Sanal. But to his dismay, Hurşit Sanal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th match minute, S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Ianculescu to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulu Serter in the 20th minute of play. When Ulu Serter came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the blackeagle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulu Serter couldn't finish the play. In the 24th match minute, blackeagle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Koralp Sıratullah to maneuver through the defense. Agah Ergüner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Ianculescu in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Camavinga in the 37th minute of play forced blackeagle's goalkeeper Agah Ergüner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, blackeagle's Agah Ergüner got control of the ball when Yavuz Bülent İlkim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agah Ergüner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Ianculescu in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Wang Rong Jing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Agah Ergüner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by blackeagle's Ulu Serter. But to his dismay, Ulu Serter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Bülent İlkim in the 54th minute of play forced blackeagle's goalkeeper Agah Ergüner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Abidin Taşkın was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agah Ergüner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Agah Ergüner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Bülent İlkim in the 57th minute of the match. Agah Ergüner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Rong Jing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Onur Ali Batıhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave blackeagle the free kick. Hurşit Sanal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thomas Ravelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st minute Marcu Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agah Ergüner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
