Çanakkale's Duran Özmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahri Balaban in the 13th minute of play. Suat Koca kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Halil Baytekin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fahri Balaban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duran Özmen having to interfere. In the 21st minute Mattias Naba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duran Özmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çanakkale's Duran Özmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, 19 Mayıs Belediyespor's Thoyib Alatas got control of the ball when Koray Tibet tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, 19 Mayıs Belediyespor's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Cem Eroğlu came free, but Thoyib Alatas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ricardo Bochini fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 19 Mayıs Belediyespor's protests and gave Ricardo Bochini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Ricardo Bochini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suat Koca's late challenge caught a Çanakkale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Suat Koca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Çanakkale booed when 19 Mayıs Belediyespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stoyko Mavrikov in the 76th minute of play forced Çanakkale's goalkeeper Duran Özmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duran Özmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Naba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Ricardo Bochini notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Çanakkale's Duran Özmen. Duran Özmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 Mayıs Belediyespor made a substitution. Wojciech Frenzel replaced Fahri Balaban. Duran Özmen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded 19 Mayıs Belediyespor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Çanakkale.
