With his leg Leo Maceira managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 15th minute, Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Maceira. Leo Maceira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ivan Estela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jonas Efren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Maceira made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Castel Escamilla sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Ivan Estela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castel Escamilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Maceira having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mano tengo fe defense, Castel Escamilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Maceira. The Mano tengo fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Maceira should have stopped the shot. When Joaquim Zarandona fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avileños F.C.'s protests and gave Joaquim Zarandona a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Joaquim Zarandona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Mano tengo fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Argüero to maneuver through the defense. Leo Maceira came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla. But to his dismay, Castel Escamilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 45 minutes into the match, Castel Escamilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Maceira. Mano tengo fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Castel Escamilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Castel Escamilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Evarado Mescua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Maceira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Castel Escamilla in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Castel Escamilla in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Maceira saved Mano tengo fe from getting behind. Joaquim Zarandona was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Joaquim Zarandona hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mano tengo fe booed when Avileños F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stewart Digiuseppe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mano tengo fe getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edmundo Argüero hit a great ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Loco Guiles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avileños F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Guiles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Ladio Montenegro notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Mano tengo fe's Leo Maceira. Leo Maceira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ladio Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loco Guiles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladio Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Leo Maceira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avileños F.C.. Mano tengo fe's Leo Maceira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Monterrey in the 88th minute of play. Avileños F.C.'s Alessandro Monterrey got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Ladio Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Leo Maceira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Avileños F.C. were the better team. Avileños F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
