The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chiquito Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Neto in the 4th minute of play. Nicolas Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belasko Aguiluz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo Pitta hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Adriano Secco hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Chiquito Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Marques. After 29 played minutes Intimos de Reynoso got a freekick which was hit by Belasko Aguiluz. Falcão Marques in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chiquito Flores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Adriano Secco fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Adriano Secco a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Secco. After a defensive mix-up in Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's zone, Luis Abram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Cardozo came out of the goal and Luis Abram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Intimos de Reynoso getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alexander Callens hit a great ball. Gil dos Santos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil dos Santos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tavo Arrelucea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Intimos de Reynoso's Gartzen Braña slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolas Cardozo. That made the score 1-1 after 51 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adriano Secco got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavo Arrelucea, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Marques came free, but Chiquito Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Tavo Arrelucea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chayo Aguila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Nicolas Cardozo made a huge save. Tavo Arrelucea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nicolas Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Intimos de Reynoso's Tavo Arrelucea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolas Cardozo. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 87th minute of play forced Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalberto Vianna struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Chiquito Flores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF. The Intimos de Reynoso supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Intimos de Reynoso would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
