Talha Carnicero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Talha Carnicero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Rojas in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner. Marcelino Mede went to the cornerflag to take it. After 14 played minutes Cavaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Etxeberri. 17 minutes into the game, Caio Mendes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cavaliers FC's Teobaldo Remigio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Urbano came free, but Isaac Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Tasso FC were awarded a corner. León Zambrano went to the cornerflag to take it. Isaac Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Urbano in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Waldir Urbano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaac Beliran. Waldir Urbano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cavaliers FC's zone, Severiano Torcato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Beliran came out of the goal and Severiano Torcato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Waldir Urbano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isaac Beliran, passed just outside the right post. When Romulo Chesus fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavaliers FC's protests and gave Romulo Chesus a yellow card for diving instead. Romulo Chesus hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavaliers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. León Zambrano was slow to take the kick. During this time Tasso FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Waldir Urbano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaac Beliran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Waldir Urbano took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Isaac Beliran to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Rojas was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Waldir Urbano made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Beliran. Cavaliers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Marcelino Gagriel replaced Gonzalo Nardo. Waldir Urbano took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Beliran. Isaac Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Talha Carnicero was a little too slow when Marcelino Gagriel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 5-2. In the 68th minute, Pinto Valer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match, Marcelino Gagriel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Talha Carnicero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Waldir Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Beliran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaac Beliran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Urbano's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Cavaliers FC defense, Waldir Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Beliran. The Cavaliers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Beliran should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Chucho during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Wilfredo Chucho got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Beliran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. In the 93rd minute, Luisito Etxeberri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's Severiano Torcato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Beliran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cavaliers FC's zone, Severiano Torcato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Beliran came out of the goal and Severiano Torcato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tasso FC had played much better football throughout.
