The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albinas Kavaliūnas. Albinas Kavaliūnas took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bret Caudill. Bret Caudill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdas Kaušpadas in the 7th minute of play. Jokūbas Mikočionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Lusk in the 10th minute of play. Jokūbas Mikočionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Lusk in the 16th minute of the match. Airūnas Milius hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Kings's Jokūbas Mikočionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Callahan in the 22nd minute of play. Jokūbas Mikočionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Baez in the 23rd minute of play. Blair Lusk scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jokūbas Mikočionis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anton Trimble hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romualdas Kaušpadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kings's Jokūbas Mikočionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Lusk in the 39th minute of play. With 42 minutes on the clock, Anton Trimble commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 41st minute, one of S.D. Bajen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.D. Bajen. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 59 minutes, Darryl Hardin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the Kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Darryl Hardin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albinas Kavaliūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Kings's goalkeeper Jokūbas Mikočionis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Baez. Blair Lusk might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jokūbas Mikočionis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blair Lusk ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Darius Seals kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jokūbas Mikočionis. That made the score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. S.D. Bajen's Lane Berg was substituted for Darryl Hardin. Romualdas Šaltenis hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ričardas Jasinskas charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ričardas Jasinskas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 80 minutes into the game, S.D. Bajen's Jorge Baez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jokūbas Mikočionis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albinas Kavaliūnas in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Vaclovas Puščius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bret Caudill came out of the goal and Vaclovas Puščius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ričardas Jasinskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Baez got free with Jokūbas Mikočionis in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes Kings got a freekick which was hit by Romualdas Kaušpadas.
