Circus BAF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Eusebio Fiz scored to the left of an out of position Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot, making the score, 1-0. Benigno Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Vermeiren in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Armando Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Van Gertsuyden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Ilazki having to make a save. In the 11th minute Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ilazki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Van Gertsuyden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benigno Ilazki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Van Gertsuyden, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ilazki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ilazki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Van Gertsuyden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Tommy Van Gertsuyden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Tommy Van Gertsuyden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorato Omero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Tommy Van Gertsuyden might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Ilazki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Van Gertsuyden ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ilazki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 48th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mainumby's Bernardo Benet was substituted for Rigoberto Santxol. When Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 56th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Benigno Ilazki kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Tommy Van Gertsuyden kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Luis Semeno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Armando Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Van Gertsuyden. Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik-Jan Stroobant in the 71st minute of play. The corner ended in Sam-Lucas Lache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki did a great save. The throw-in from Bernardo Benet in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Circus BAF's Douglas Loosen. Douglas Loosen hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Tommy Van Gertsuyden scored 1-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Ilazki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Hubert Vermeiren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Ilazki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tommy Van Gertsuyden came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Circus BAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Van Gertsuyden couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Erik-Jan Stroobant hit a great ball. Erik-Jan Stroobant succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Circus BAF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
