Jose Manuel Guilisasti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Pedro Owen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráusio Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. Dragoş Gâdea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Juan Pedro Owen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristeo Oquendo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CRUZ DEL SUR's 姚坚朋 got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Sandu Iosifian sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan Pedro Owen didn't even have to move. 27 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Maurín Angulo came free, but Liviu Iordache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurín Angulo in the 31st minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petrică Patriciu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jude Cruz was slow to take the kick. During this time CRUZ DEL SUR's players had a chance to rest. CRUZ DEL SUR's Jude Cruz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Liviu Iordache in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute Radu Nae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pedro Owen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Gâdea came free, but Juan Pedro Owen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes, CRUZ DEL SUR's Marc Pedraza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Liviu Iordache came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CRUZ DEL SUR reached it. Liviu Iordache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurín Angulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Radu Nae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráusio Matos made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Cruz in the 54th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Iordache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Iordache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Pedraza in the 60th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR's Vid Murgelj was substituted for Francisco Cruz. CRUZ DEL SUR's Belmiro Peñaranda was substituted for Jude Cruz. Petrică Patriciu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, CRUZ DEL SUR's Vid Murgelj dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. If Fabian Bălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Sorin Cucerzan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes CRUZ DEL SUR got a freekick which was hit by Abdul Esquerra. Juan Pedro Owen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Bălan in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Vid Murgelj notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Liviu Iordache. Liviu Iordache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vid Murgelj in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Iordache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CRUZ DEL SUR had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
