After a defensive mix-up in Seahawks V55's zone, Anthon Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Mantas came out of the goal and Anthon Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikos Mantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Anthon Eliasson made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Mantas. Seahawks V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Anthon Eliasson scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Mantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Anthon Eliasson made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Mantas. Seahawks V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 27th minute, Anthon Eliasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fredrik Isak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Nikos Mantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Seahawks V55 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Degerfors IF were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åke Fors to make the kick off. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilias Zografos in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilias Zografos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikos Mantas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Nikos Mantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Eliasson in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Seahawks V55 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ilias Zografos hit a great ball. Degerfors IF's Åke Fors got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Åke Fors in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikos Mantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 88th minute, Anthon Eliasson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikos Mantas. The goal made the score 0-9. After some careless play in the Seahawks V55 defense, Åke Fors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Mantas. The Seahawks V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Mantas should have stopped the shot. Degerfors IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
