Valdir Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Here Comes the Hammer's attentive Song Hao Feng managed to snatch the ball when Børge Børseth made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. John Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Karsten Hveding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Valdir Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karsten Hveding was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Here Comes the Hammer's Song Hao Feng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Børge Børseth in the 23 minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karsten Hveding prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Daustad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Here Comes the Hammer were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Eriksson was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Eriksson got free with Karsten Hveding in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Velloso in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Hveding saved Daustad from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Edmund Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match, Valdir Velloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karsten Hveding saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karsten Hveding made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when John Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. Karsten Hveding stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Eriksson's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Daustad's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Valdir Velloso 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix was substituted for Valdir Velloso. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Félix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karsten Hveding was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Carlinhos Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Carlinhos Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Karsten Hveding successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Carlinhos Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karsten Hveding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Daustad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Here Comes the Hammer were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
