Felipo Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Eriksson in the 29th minute of the match. Valdir Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Here Comes the Hammer fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Maranhense in the 38th minute of play. Valdir Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipo Ramirez having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordarell Saura to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Valdir Velloso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipo Ramirez. The goal made the score 1-4. Felipo Ramirez made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Eriksson in the 57th minute. Felipo Ramirez came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Here Comes the Hammer's John Eriksson. But to his dismay, John Eriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. John Eriksson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 68th playminute. Valdir Velloso struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Felipo Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Here Comes the Hammer. Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix was substituted for Valdir Velloso. Felipo Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipo Ramirez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlinhos Félix showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 78 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Erlantz Coya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felipo Ramirez. Felipo Ramirez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Here Comes the Hammer's Elof Åström was substituted for Lei Lei Feng. In the 86th match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 90 minutes, Carlinhos Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Here Comes the Hammer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Félix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos Félix in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipo Ramirez saved SC Pfullendorf from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlinhos Félix in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipo Ramirez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. John Eriksson in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felipo Ramirez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Here Comes the Hammer eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
