BEIJO CARNAVAL's Conrado Darien managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristiano Marquez in the 37 minute of the game. Luiz Fernando Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, BEIJO CARNAVAL's goalkeeper Ambrosio Mannie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarcisio Pena. 47 minutes into the game, Conrado Darien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luiz Fernando Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 73rd minute, Gérard Cannavaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jenipapo SC's Luiz Fernando Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's Luiz Fernando Neto got control of the ball when Conrado Darien tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as BEIJO CARNAVAL's Claudio Inocente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Fernando Neto. That made the score 0-4 after 90 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Brasil during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Brasil. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's Luiz Fernando Neto got control of the ball when Marcial Bartoli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th minute BEIJO CARNAVAL were awarded a corner. Tiburcio Haimar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jenipapo SC's goalie and right to Ruben Fertus. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jenipapo SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. BEIJO CARNAVAL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
