With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Björling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmie Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jo Blanchaert hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jimmie Ek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arthur Saba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. After 30 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Bülent Özger. Hubert Klack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Björling having to interfere. Jimmie Ek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The referee gave Average Joes a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mattias Finnman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Firma Barnängen's Jimmie Ek. 5-0. Ivar Björling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hubert Klack went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Mattias Finnman made a precise shot to the right of Jimmie Ek. Firma Barnängen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Jimmie Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Rolandsson in the 82nd minute of the match.
