After a defensive mix-up in Los once leones Ourense's zone, Deivid Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Fonticoba came out of the goal and Deivid Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reko-Recko 03™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sanson Treviño was slow to take the kick. During this time Los once leones Ourense's players had a chance to rest. Amuruza Alcantara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Donatello having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Alvarez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Donatello saved Reko-Recko 03™ from getting behind. Belmiro Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a huge save. If Amuruza Alcantara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gonzalo Fonticoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Esteves in the 25th minute of play forced Los once leones Ourense's goalkeeper Gonzalo Fonticoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Donatello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. Carlos Eduardo Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Alvarez in the 33rd minute of the match. Erivaldo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Alvarez. After having played for 40 minutes, Belmiro Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los once leones Ourense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lolo Vallejo made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Amuruza Alcantara immediately put the ball in play. Wiliam Cardoso's late challenge caught a Los once leones Ourense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiliam Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Wiliam Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiliam Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Amuruza Alcantara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Amuruza Alcantara came free, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Amuruza Alcantara made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Eduardo Donatello. Reko-Recko 03™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Carlos Eduardo Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Alvarez in the 71st minute of the match. Camilo Fresnedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los once leones Ourense's Gonzalo Fonticoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Cardoso in the 82nd minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amuruza Alcantara in the 83rd minute of the match. Gonzalo Fonticoba was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Wiliam Cardoso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wiliam Cardoso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Carlos Eduardo Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amuruza Alcantara, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Belmiro Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Reko-Recko 03™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Carlos Eduardo Donatello had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Sanson Treviño's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Reko-Recko 03™ defense, Sanson Treviño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Eduardo Donatello. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Eduardo Donatello should have stopped the shot.
