Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 77th play minutes Fernandinho Negri shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Angelo Bertoni and just under the crossbar into goal. Diguinho Pitta made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SORRISO E. C.'s Gilson Salles. Christiano Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matai Tsipas in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernandinho Negri in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Bertoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesare Palma got free with Christiano Arce in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fernandinho Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
