Mario Duplantier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Weniger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Maurício Machado was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pedro Paulo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Freitag, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Pedro Paulo Penha was a little too slow when Enrique Freitag got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Griffin Reiter didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Carlos Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Claudio Weniger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Schuler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mario Duplantier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Weniger was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Matthäus Kunze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Weniger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Duplantier in the 31st minute of the match. Mike Terrana's late challenge caught a Flatline Zombies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mike Terrana helped the player get up and apologised. Mike Terrana kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Mario Duplantier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Weniger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Aposan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Aposan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Claudio Weniger made a huge save. Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Freitag in the 54th minute of play. Claudio Weniger was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and João Carlos Pitta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Carlos Pitta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. A collision led to Flatline Zombies getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Roger Furcas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Aposan in the 61st minute of play forced Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Claudio Weniger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flatline Zombies's zone, João Carlos Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Weniger came out of the goal and João Carlos Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes, João Carlos Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ogro F.C. and the Flatline Zombies players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, João Carlos Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Weniger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Duplantier, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Aaron Spears hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Flatline Zombies's Noel Zanier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ogro F.C.. If Fred Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Aposan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Claudio Weniger made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Fred Lange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flatline Zombies's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Lange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Paulo Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Weniger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Aposan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Julius Rüdemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 87th minute of the match Mike Terrana completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mike Terrana a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Flatline Zombies booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Terrana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, Flatline Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Freitag to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
