After 6 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Askild Farquhar. In the 8th minute Christopher Remke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Weniger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Flatline Zombies's Enrique Freitag in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sletteenge's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Thorfinn Birkvad. In the 15th match minute, Sletteenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Askild Farquhar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sletteenge booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthäus Kunze didn't get a good kick on the ball. René Ostermann's late challenge caught a Sletteenge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. René Ostermann helped the player get up and apologised. Volmer Frimand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Weniger having to make a save. In the 23rd minute Askild Farquhar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Weniger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Volmer Frimand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Weniger was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Sletteenge's Arne Heeris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Freitag in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volmer Frimand in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Weniger saved Flatline Zombies from getting behind. The supporters of Sletteenge booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Freitag didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Askild Farquhar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sletteenge's supporters rose to their feet, but Askild Farquhar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Weniger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Flatline Zombies's René Ostermann got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Volmer Frimand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Weniger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sletteenge's Arne Heeris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Sletteenge from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute of the match Flatline Zombies got a corner. Sletteenge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Noel Zanier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Flatline Zombies's Noel Zanier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arne Heeris in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 40 played minutes Flatline Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Matthäus Kunze. Arne Heeris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Zanier in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes of play, Flatline Zombies's Noel Zanier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Heeris was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Freitag was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Zanier in the 51st minute of play forced Sletteenge's goalkeeper Arne Heeris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Sletteenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volmer Frimand to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Freitag in the 55th minute of play forced Sletteenge's goalkeeper Arne Heeris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Heeris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Lange in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute Enrique Freitag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Heeris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volmer Frimand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Matthäus Kunze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Noel Zanier put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arne Heeris. Arne Heeris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Zanier, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute Enrique Freitag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Heeris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Heeris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Freitag in the 93rd minute of the match.
