Ciro Del Vecchio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Xabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Nafiz Ünalp came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, POSSE 1911 FC's Nereo Christobal got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Faruk Nafiz Ünalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Faruk Nafiz Ünalp made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. Villa Gordiani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of POSSE 1911 FC booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Bellomo didn't get a good kick on the ball. POSSE 1911 FC's Godfredo Xabel got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Del Vecchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Nafiz Ünalp in the 33rd minute of play. Ciro Del Vecchio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Nafiz Ünalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Faruk Nafiz Ünalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Del Vecchio was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Anthony Bellomo got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Faruk Nafiz Ünalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. POSSE 1911 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faruk Nafiz Ünalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Del Vecchio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faruk Nafiz Ünalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ciro Del Vecchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Nafiz Ünalp in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faruk Nafiz Ünalp in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Del Vecchio saved Villa Gordiani from getting behind. Attilio Iob kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ciriaco Azubeli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciro Del Vecchio. Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Ciro Del Vecchio managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when POSSE 1911 FC's Faruk Nafiz Ünalp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. POSSE 1911 FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
