Nicolas Cheche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Sándor Czibor made a huge save. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márton Zádori in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Nicolas Cheche made a precise shot to the right of Sándor Czibor. Várdomb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Cosme Oalo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sándor Czibor, 2-0. In the 16th minute, Bertold Csonka made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. LA DEL MONO's Nicanor Haitz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sándor Karsai, made in the 21st minute of the game. Nicolas Cheche might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sándor Czibor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Cheche ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolas Cheche's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sándor Czibor firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Hámori in the 32nd minute of play. Higinio Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Várdomb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balázs Héj didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's Higinio Botello broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Várdomb's zone, Nicolas Cheche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sándor Czibor came out of the goal and Nicolas Cheche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

LA DEL MONO's Gervasio Firman was substituted for Layne Saron. LA DEL MONO made a substitution. Adolfo Millan replaced Nicolas Cheche. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Millan made a kick off. Sándor Czibor came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by LA DEL MONO's Adolfo Millan. But to his dismay, Adolfo Millan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save LA DEL MONO from getting a goal against them. Cosme Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sándor Czibor having to interfere. When Gervasio Firman came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the LA DEL MONO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Firman couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute of the match, Márton Zádori tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabio Betadur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Adolfo Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Várdomb defense, Cosme Oalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sándor Czibor. The Várdomb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sándor Czibor should have stopped the shot. Sándor Czibor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Millan in the 74th minute of play. If Adolfo Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adolfo Millan might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sándor Czibor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Millan ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosme Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adolfo Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Millan charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Millan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Adolfo Millan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Adolfo Millan might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sándor Czibor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Millan ran back to his position shaking his head. LA DEL MONO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
