John Rambo's late challenge caught a La Bichineta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Rambo helped the player get up and apologised. 8 minutes into the game, La Bichineta's Octavio Phelipe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tim Wiese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Octavio Phelipe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim Wiese read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Marc Rüsing reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvio Totakoxe. The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Basilio Cugat got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 31st match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Suero to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, André Neubauer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Bad Harzburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. La Bichineta were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after SV Bad Harzburg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonzalo Enaut took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Basilio Cugat managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Rüsing to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Wiese made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Octavio Phelipe sent off a good shot on target. La Bichineta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gonzalo Enaut in the 70th minute. In the 70th minute, Basilio Cugat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Efraim. 76 minutes into the match, Marc Rüsing notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of La Bichineta's Silvio Totakoxe. Silvio Totakoxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tim Wiese stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Phelipe's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. SV Bad Harzburg's attentive Larry von Stetten managed to snatch the ball when Jacobo Nofre made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Octavio Phelipe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Tim Wiese when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
