Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Quentin in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Dorinel Munteanu got a free kick in the 6th minute. The long shot by Dalmacio Abeitia in the 7th minute really tested Walter Zenga's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Walter Zenga made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Urbano Azeari sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hernan Diaz hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Costel Ţintă notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Menchu FC's Jacinto Ostots. Jacinto Ostots was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto Ostots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Ţintă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Scorpions -MM-'s Costel Ţintă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Ostots made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Traian Uzuneanu's late challenge caught a Menchu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Uzuneanu helped the player get up and apologised. Urbano Azeari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Walter Zenga made a huge save. In the 47th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Tinu to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urbano Azeari made a kick off. Manuel Gomesano charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Gomesano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Alex Vrânceanu replaced Dan Tinu. Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Augustin Vergulescu replaced Traian Uzuneanu. Urbano Azeari might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Zenga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Vătăşel in the 62nd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Ostots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Azeari came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Vătăşel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jacinto Ostots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Vrânceanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Ostots. That made the score 3-4 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Scorpions -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
