Filiberto Pietro charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of XMAS booed when Sacronas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Higuaín didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Iribarren acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dave Barillari. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Pereyra in the 29th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Enzo Bobbio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Tabor in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Bobbio saved XMAS from getting behind. After 94 played minutes Sacronas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Pena. Comunardo Quadrini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Iribarren. Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
