Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Marques came free, but Eriberto Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on BMB IMOVEIS SC's corner Dedé Alagoano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eriberto Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elói Donato's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Cafu de Sennas short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Eriberto Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Elói Donato put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo. In the 32nd match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Pires to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Renan Madureira. Adilson Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Cafu de Senna sped through Ricart Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Pinheiro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cafu de Senna made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cafu de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BMB IMOVEIS SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Fernando Tavares in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Donato came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ruy de Queirós hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Luan Cordeiro got a free kick in the 64th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elói Donato's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Elói Donato took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio de Azevedo. Sérgio de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Sérgio de Azevedo had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Elói Donato from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Elói Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio de Azevedo was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ricart Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
