ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 10th minute of play. Faustão Châton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Qin Fan Sheng made a huge save. Peter Crouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Peter Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Renato Augusto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Qin Fan Sheng, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucio Siekkötter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Qin Fan Sheng. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Peter Crouch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esen Sanal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match ZORZAL01 got a corner. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pavel Nedvěd ran over to the corner to take the kick. Natan Vercalsteren made a great header on ZORZAL01's corner, it was just that S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 31st minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qin Fan Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Siekkötter in the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's zone, Peter Crouch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esen Sanal came out of the goal and Peter Crouch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esen Sanal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Peter Crouch made a precise shot to the right of Esen Sanal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Peter Crouch made the kick off in the second half. Pavel Nedvěd hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Lei Feng Yan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng. Qin Fan Sheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rdth minute of the game Krisztián Véber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Lei Feng Yan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qin Fan Sheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 67 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Lei Feng Yan came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Feng Yan in the 71st minute of play. Peter Crouch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Esen Sanal made a huge save. Peter Crouch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esen Sanal having to interfere. In the 81st minute Lei Feng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qin Fan Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Augusto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes in the game Wellington Fonseca did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lei Feng Yan. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Ejner Neinvig got a free kick in the 86th minute. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Crouch in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Lei Feng Yan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Qin Fan Sheng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Wellington Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZORZAL01 the free kick. Peter Crouch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ZORZAL01's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
