The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilabertus Martinez to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Martin Jax had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Roig. Picanya FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Jax was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Picanya FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elvio Ferrer took the corner. After taking down the ball on GERLIROJO Ψ's corner Elvio Ferrer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Naldo Roig quite easily take care of the ball. Martin Jax might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Roig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Jax ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Martin Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Gaskon Gimeno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Morata. Gaskon Gimeno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaskon Gimeno got free with Juan Morata in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Morata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 21st minute. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Jax in the 27th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Jax might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Roig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Jax ran back to his position shaking his head. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Jax came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaskon Gimeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Juan Morata made a huge save. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Jax was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Martin Jax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Roig was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Martin Jax might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Roig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Jax ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Picanya FC's Naldo Roig got control of the ball when Martin Jax tried to sneak it across the goal line. Picanya FC's Hori Aranzubia was substituted for Ugaitz Silva. In the 65th minute of the match GERLIROJO Ψ got a corner. Picanya FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elvio Ferrer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Elvio Ferrer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig did a great save. Naldo Roig came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax. But to his dismay, Martin Jax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Aquilino Ihintza replaced 姚坤森. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Epifanio Ibañez replaced Martin Jax. 80 minutes into the game, Natanael Coman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GERLIROJO Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picanya FC the free kick. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldovino Saura to maneuver through the defense. GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Picanya FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eleuterio Benvido took the corner. The corner ended in Eleuterio Benvido almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig did a great save. The GERLIROJO Ψ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
