Branislav Velchevski made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Tjark Heerdt sent off a good shot on target. Pejman Zahedi kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Aybars Cihannur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Francis went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aybars Cihannur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 minutes RÖK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Prosperi who took care of the corner kick. After 32 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aybars Cihannur was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 35th minute of play forced RÖK's goalkeeper Aybars Cihannur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RÖK's Tjark Heerdt got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The RÖK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tjark Heerdt made a kick off. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aybars Cihannur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after RÖK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Prosperi took the corner. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Tjark Heerdt got a free kick in the 58th minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon was substituted for Miguel Prosperi. A collision led to RÖK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tjark Heerdt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Pejman Zahedi got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, RÖK's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Aybars Cihannur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, RÖK's goalkeeper Aybars Cihannur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. After 75 played minutes RÖK got a freekick which was hit by Pejman Zahedi. RÖK's Silvano Errapel was substituted for Tjark Heerdt. RÖK's Marcinho Brasil was substituted for Cássio Favoretto. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when RÖK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pejman Zahedi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Francis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aybars Cihannur came out and tried to block the shot, but Elpidio Francis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 80th minute. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Chucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. RÖK's Aybars Cihannur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 84th minute of play. Esteban Iztal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Elpidio Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. RÖK's Aybars Cihannur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 88th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Chucho in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute RÖK were awarded a corner. Pejman Zahedi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led RÖK's Pejman Zahedi to fire away a dangerous shot which Branislav Velchevski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
