The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Murilo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Stanislaw Hyska's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caco Azevedo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Murilo Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eloy Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Murilo Prestes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Mazuste was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Hyska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Prestes in the 23rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Eloy Mazuste successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Prestes came free, but Eloy Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Tigres Ñacuñán FC from getting a goal against them. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Hyska in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Stanislaw Hyska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Prestes in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Mazuste saved Tigres Ñacuñán FC from getting behind. Eloy Mazuste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Prestes's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Murilo Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Mazuste having to make a save. After 58 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Romero. After 60 played minutes Tigres Ñacuñán FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Pitin. Murilo Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eloy Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Prestes in the 67th minute of play. Murilo Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Mazuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Válbson Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Tigres Ñacuñán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Llorian to maneuver through the defense. Tigres Ñacuñán FC were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after SORRISO E. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfonso Pere took the corner. The corner ended in Alfonso Pere almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in SORRISO E. C.'s zone, Stanislaw Hyska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Azevedo came out of the goal and Stanislaw Hyska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
