In the 36th minute of the match LA LUZ F.C. got a corner. Santa Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 40th minute, Andréas Hasselqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Ángel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Rojek to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Rojek. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LA LUZ F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
